Nigeria Printing Practitioners present ‘Situation Report on Fight Against COVID-19’ to Government

THE Society of Printing Practitioners of Nigeria, Onitsha Chapter, has presented copies of `Situation Report on the Fight Against COVID-19’ in Anambra State to the government.

The National President of the Association and former Anambra State Government Printer, Nwora Egbuniwe, while presenting the report said the aim was to partner with the government in the fight against COVID-19.

He said the report would assist the government in its grassroots and general public enlightenment about policies and programmes of government on the fight.

Receiving the publication, the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, described it as a unique contribution toward the fight against Coronavirus pandemic.

He thanked the body for reaching out in support of the government and urged it to cooperate in the campaign against book piracy.

Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, C Don Adinuba, who was at the presentation, described it as timely.

According to him, this will help a lot in informing and enlightening the public on policies and programmes of government, especially at this period of community tracing of index persons.

The commissioner added that the publication would be distributed in public places, especially Churches, Offices, Markets and Motor Parks.

Chairman of the Onitsha Chapter of the Association, Okechukwu Akaneme, thanked the government for its commitment to the fight against the spread of the pandemic in the state.

He pledged the association’s total support to the government in the fight.
