NKECHI Ali-Balogun, principal consultant and chief executive officer of the NECCI  Limited,  has been conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award 2017  by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Lagos, in December.

Ali-Balogun, who is also the founder of NECCI Public Relations Roundtable, was given the award in recognition of her as a leading Public Relations practiotioner and strategist as well as being the first female chairman of the of the Lagos branch of the Institute. She has  meritoriously contributed to the public relations practice, inspiring younger practitioners especially the females, and in the growth of the Institute over the years.

The award presentation took place at the annual Lagos Public Relations Industry Gala and Awards, LaPRIGA, night, which held recently in Lagos, with industry chieftains in attendance.

The award was on a unanimous decision based on the result of a survey based on a wide range of criteria which included: overall achievement, commitment, consistency, passions, creativity, leadership, advocacy for women inclusion, among others.

A Fellow of the Institute, Ali-Balogun has in the recent past received “The Most Outstanding Public Relations Practitioner of The Year for two consecutive years and also the Red Media Living Legend Award.
