MAIKANTI Baru, group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has expressed felicitation to all the staff of the corporation on the Eid el-Fitri celebration observed Friday across the Country.

A release by Ndu Ughamadu, group general manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the NNPC, stated that Baru’s message was contained in a wee-hour mail broadcast he personally released Friday.

Wishing them happy celebration,  Baru congratulated all NNPC staff on restoring sanity to the supply of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, otherwise called petrol, to nation.

Ughamadu relayed that in a later brief by Baru, he charged the staff of the corporation to continue to work assiduously with a view to achieving the aspirations of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for the industry.

The release said Baru seized the opportunity of the festival to further assure that NNPC would not relent in making desired contribution to the economy of the Country.

Baru thanked Nigerians from all walks of life for their support, adding that he would continue to count on them to curb the challenges of pipeline vandalism, among other vices, plaguing the Industry.
