NCDMB inaugurates 17-Storey Tower

THE Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, will on Friday, February 14, commission it’s head office in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The 17-story building has 1,000-seater Ultra-Modern Conference Hall, 4 levels state-of-the-art car park and 10 megawatts gas-fired power plants.

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to commission the edifice. NCDMB through Timipre Sylva, minister of state for petroleum resources, also invited other stakeholders in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry, to grace the occasion.

The NCDMB, which is under the leadership of Wabote Simbi, as its executive secretary, was established by the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development, NOGICD, Act on April 22, 2010.

The NOGIC JQS was created in line with section 55 of the NOGIC Act which states that the board shall establish, maintain and operate a joint qualification system, JQS, in consultation with industry stakeholders which shall be administered in accordance with provisions set out in the regulations to be made by the minister in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
