Agbaegbu’s in-law, Anejionu, dies at 83

THE Nneji-Anejionu family of UmuloloOgwu in Aboh- Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State on Tuesday, December 4, announced the death of Silvanus NnejiAnejionu, their patriarch and a renowned agriculturist and father in-law of Tobs Agbaegbu, the publisher of Verbatim newsmagazine.

An obituary announcement released on behalf of the family, December 4, by Magnus Ugonna Anejionu, the eldest son of the deceased, said Nneji-Anejionuwho, who held the traditional title of Ohamadike 1 of Ngurunwenkwo, died after a brief illness, on Sunday, November 25, the day Catholics in Nigeria celebrated as Christ The King ceremony.

The announcement stated that Nneji-Anejionu, aged 83, is survived by Lolo Benedicta Anejionu, his wife and a retired headmistress; six children, three sons-in-law, two daughters in-law, 13 grand-children, brothers and sisters.

The announcement also stated that arrangements for the burial of Nneji-Anejionu will be made public soon.
