PDP releases timetable for 2020 congresses

THE People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has released the time-table and schedule of activities for party congresses in 2020. The party said the congresses would usher in new executive members from the wards to the national levels.

In a special announcement singed by Austin Akobundu, national organizing secretary of the congresses, said: “In the exercise of its power under section 31 and 49 of our party’s constitution (2017 as amended) that National Executive Committee at its 88th meeting approved the following time-table and schedule of activities for the year 2020 party congresses for the purpose of electing party executive committees.

“The year 2020 congresses is scheduled to hold in the following states: Abia, Bayelsa, Delta, Ekiti, Gombe, Kaduna, Nassarawa, Plateau, Taraba, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Kano, Niger, Rivers, Yobe, Bauchi, Cross Rivers, FCT, Jigawa, Katsina, Ondo, Sokoto and Edo,” it stated.
