The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) said its pilot was alone when the AutoGyro aircraft model Mtosport 2010 went down at about 7:40 a.m. (4:40 GMT) on Thursday.

“A thorough investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the accident. We convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved,” KWS said in a statement.
