The duo: Ajani Abass,28, and Olarenwaju Olaide, 28, had pleaded not guilty to a three-count charge bothering on burglary, conspiracy and theft.

The prosecutor, ASP Idoko John, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on March 8, at 10:00 a.m., in Osogbo.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 516, 411 (2) and 383 punishable under Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code, Cap 34, Vol. 11, Laws of Osun, 2002.

The defendants had no legal representation when the court clerk called their case.

Awodele, however, said that the sureties must reside within the court’s jurisdiction with evidence of tax payments and passport-sized photographs, attached with an affidavit of means.
