Prophet Muyideen Kasali, the General Overseer, Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry Worldwide, Ibadan, has implored the electorate who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PCVs) to do so.

Kasali, who made the call on Saturday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan, said the PVC was the only weapon to decide those that would lead them.

He said that active participation in the nation’s electoral process by all and sundry would enhance growth of democracy and emergence of credible leaders.

He also appealed to politicians to put the interest of the nation above personal interest and refrain from all things that could militate against the success of the forthcoming general elections.

The cleric charged other clerics to intensify prayers for the success of the elections, saying fervent prayer was significant for violence -free election.

He also appealed to President Mohammadu Buhari to take drastic measures in addressing insecurity and other challenges facing the country.

He expressed optimism that God would intervene in the affairs of Nigeria and restore the nation’s past glory. (NAN)
