Anambra 2018 Bill passes 2nd Reading

THE Anambra State 2018 Budget/ Appropriation Bill has scaled Second Reading on the floor of the Anambra State House of Assembly.
The bill for a law seeking to provide the N166,914,489,147 for the services of the Anambra State Government for the year ending, December 31, and for related purposes.
Rita Maduagwu, speaker, Anambra House of Assembly, referred the Bill to the Committee on Appropriation and urged members of various committees to assist in giving the budget accelerated hearing.
Responding, Obinna Emenaka, House committee chairman on Appropriation and member representing Anambra East constituency, assured that the committee was ready for budget defence and to do thorough budget bilateral interaction.
