Jacob Ajegena-Kudu, an aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, has promised to give priority to healthcare services and youth empowerment, if elected in 2019.

Ajegena-Kudu, gave the assurance on Tuesday after purchasing his Expression of Interest and Nomination form at the state APC Secretariat in Lafia.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ajegena-Kudu is seeking election to represent Nassarawa Eggon East Constituency in the state house of assembly.

According to him, we all know that health is wealth; I will ensure that I give special attention to the healthcare services of the people of the constituency for a better health status.

“I also promise effective and quality representation and I want to assure you that I will not fail in all my responsibilities if elected.

“I have ensured quality standard of living through free-interest loan to the people  of not only my local government, to make the people self reliant.

“I will promote the welfare of the people of my constituency by providing the much-needed dividend of democracy to the people, if elected.

“I will also initiate different skill acquisition programmes in order to enable the people become self reliant and to contribute their quota to national development.

“Most people in this constituency have nothing doing; so my plan, if elected is to engage them in one activity or the other to better their lives,” he said.

Ajegena-Kudu also promised to initiate good policies and programmes that would boost the socio-economic activities and the standard of living of the people of the area.

He urged the electorate to vote leaders of proven integrity and unquestionable character during the election.

“I want to call on the electorate to vote God-fearing leaders for them to enjoy more dividends of democracy,’’ Ajegena-Kudu said.

He advised members of the party to remain united and focused in order to ensure the victory of the party in the area, the state and the country at large.

The aspirant also appealed for support of President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Tanko Al-Makura for success in the task ahead. (NAN)
