THE All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has expressed worries over incessant insecurity situation across the country, ranging from kidnap of Chibok and Dapchi girls.

The party called on the Federal Government to urgently quell the various violent activities that had been crippling the socio-economic activities of the nation.

The worries were expressed during a meeting involving members of APGA Board of Trustees at Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia on March 12.

In the communiqué released by the Board, the members condoled with the families of kidnapped victims and prayed God for safe return of their children and wards.

While reading out the communiqué to newsmen, Sani Shinkafi, the secretary of the Board, urged relevant political parties to adopt peaceful primaries and allow elected candidates to fly their party flags.

“We advise Nigerians to register in line with the electoral guidelines, if they have not done so and obtain their voters cards in readiness for the upcoming 2019 General Elections.”

Shinkafi announced that APGA had finalised intensive efforts to be strong political force in the 2019 General Election, so as to occupy various enviable positions.

The board, however, commended Governor Willie Obiano for his physical and giant developments as well as leadership skills, which had reshaped positively, the political status of Anambra State.
