THE Anambra State government has lifted ban on the suspension imposed of three members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, lawmakers in the state.

The suspended members are Ikem Uzoezie, Aguata 1; Harford Oseke, (Awka South 2) and Victor Okoye, (Anambra West).

Governor Willie Obiano announced the lifting of ban at the Community Primary School, Umueze Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area during his ongoing `Thank you tour’ of the state.

“APGA is a party to reckon with. The party has resolved to settle internal issues threatening to thwart the peace in the party,’’ the governor said.

He noted that he would continue to provide adequate opportunities as well as promote the welfare of the people of Anambra.

Obiano urged them to support all the APGA candidates in the upcoming General Elections, to ensure landslide victory for the party in the state.

Ebelechukwu Obiano, the wife of the governor, said the present administration had touched many lives. “APGA is determined to further project the state into limelight.’’

Victor Oye, the national chairman, APGA, noted that government recorded excellence in the administration of the state.

The members were suspended by Norbert Obi, the state party chairman, after the primaries in November 2018.

It was alleged that the members engaged in anti-party activities and as well spearheading a campaign to change the leadership of Anambra State House of Assembly.

Bonaventure Enemali, the commissioner for Youths and Creative Economy, commended the governor for his lofty vision in piloting affairs of the state.
