PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari  again did not attend the regular Wednesday meeting of the Federal Executive Council. FEC, which held today at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

This will make it the third time in a row the president will miss the FEC meeting since he returned from his medical leave in London, United Kingdom. No official reasons has been given to explain his absence at today’s meeting as at press time even though the president has not been enjoying good health of late.

An official statement from the State House last week, said that the president was recuperating in his private residence.

However, on Tuesday, May 2, Aisha Buhari, the president’s wife, in her tweet, said his state of health was not as bad as it was being speculated. Her statement came on the heels of the much publicised private meeting Buhari had with Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the Federation, AGF, and Maikanti Baru, group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation, NNPC.
