CONSOLIDATION 2017 project an amalgam of political associates’ from different political parties in Anambra State has endorsed Governor Willie Obiano for a second term in office.

The group, which paid solidarity visit to Don Unachukwu, the transition committee chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, LGA, at Ojoto, expressed support for the APGA-led administration in the state.

The group said that the party had to its credit, some laudable projects.

The group was led by Godson Nnuriam, its director-general and chairman Association of Anambra State Counsellors.

The group promised to use its grassroots network in all LGAs in the state to deliver not less than 140, 000 votes.

According to Godson, the governor deserves a second term in office, in view of the right security network in the state, his achievements in agriculture as well as regular payment of workers’ salaries and pensions.

In a speech, Okey Elosiuba, a former speaker, Idemili South LGA, Legislature commended Obiano administration for ably piloting the affairs of the state, in spite of the then economic recession in the country.

Responding, Unachukwu thanked them for the visit and for identifying with a working administration of Obiano.
