OLORUNFEMI Basiru, the Chief Imam of Ifaki-Ekiti, in Ido-Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti on Tuesday, charged Nigerians on good deeds in order to be rewarded by the Almighty Allah.

Basiru gave the admonition during the 2018 Eid-el-Kabir prayers at the Ansar-Ud-Deen Idi Ifaki-Ekiti.

The cleric in his sermon titled: “Good Work,” said that Almighty Allah cherished it when His followers aspired to affect positively other people’s lives.

“Almighty Allah takes notice of every deed of mankind either good or bad and rewards good deeds with heavenly inheritance and bad deeds with hell; be you Muslim faithful or other religions.

“Always assist your fellow men to grow in life, as this will be what you will be remembered for after death,” the Chief Imam said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Muslims faithful also used the occasion to pray for peace in the country and in Ekiti in particular.

Two Muslim faithful, Alhaji Musa Abdul and Mrs Bisi Ojo, in interviews with NAN, congratulated Nigerians for being alive to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir. (NAN)
