Ekweremadu Leads Senate Delegation to South Africa

IKE Ekweremadu, deputy Senate president, has been appointed to lead the Senate delegation to South Africa to investigate the ongoing xenophobic attacks in the country.

Bukola Saraki, president of the Senate, made the announcement during the plenary on Wednesday, March 1.

Other members of the delegation are Ahmad Lawan, leader of the Senate and Sola Adeyeye, chief whip.

The rest are Shehu Sani, deputy chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs; Stella Oduah, Magnus Abe and Shaba Lafiaji.
