Emir of Zaria, Arewa Youths, VC support Yes Nigeria on voters’ education

Shehu Idris, Emir of Zauzzau, has pledged to key into the vision and mission of Yes Nigeria Movement as part of his dream to see a better Nigeria especially as regards to electing credible leaders in the country.

The Emir made the pledge when the Yes Nigeria Movement team paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Zaria, Kaduna State.

Idris, who announced to his cabinet of his identification with the movement appealed to Yes leaders to put in more effort in enlightenment of the vision and mission of the Movement. He also announced publicly that he and his emirate would support the Yes Movement in all aspects of life to ensure that the dream is sustained.

Earlier, Omowunmi Obafemi, the team leader to the Emir’s palace, in her speech noted that the Yes Nigeria Movement would seek to ensure that people of integrity are given opportunity to lead the nation and also educate the electorates on their rights as citizens to elect people of honour, leadership skills and passion for humanity.

She also emphasised on the need for Nigerians to get their PVCs ready as it stands as a voice in choosing the right candidate and do go out during the voting period to votes.

The team also visited Mohammed Tanko, the vice chancellor of Kaduna State University, who after hearing from the team on its vision and objectives declared his membership to the movement and promised to ensure that both lecturers and students are carried along to key into the Yes Vision.

Also in a related development, the movement met with the leadership of Arewa Youth Forum led by Nuhu Sani Lere who pledged on behalf of the youths to key into the Movements’ vision.
