THE General Overseer of a Church Foundation, Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Mrs. Chibuzor Chinyere, on Monday, urged Nigerians to take advantage of its Foundation 2020 free skills acquisition training, to empower themselves economically.

Chinyere gave this advice in a statement issued to newsmen in Umuahia, and signed by Mr. Kenneth Nwachi of OPM Media.

According to her, the training will cover pipeline welding, Argon welding, oil well drilling, oil ridging operation, and scaffolding.

Others, she said, included generator repair, tailoring, furniture, marine engineering, paint production, pipe fitting, computer engineering, instrumentation and control, and driving school.

“The training is free irrespective of the tribe or religious affiliation. Come and pick your free registration forms whether you are a Muslim or a Christian.

“Through this foundation, we have been able to empower more than10, 000 Nigerians and it is run with the tithes and offering of the church,” she said.

Chinyere said that the free training was being organised yearly by OPM Foundation in Port Harcourt and that the trainees were also fed free throughout the duration of the training. (NAN)
