Ebelechukwu Obiano, the wife of Anambra State governor, has urged Ndi Anambra East Local Government Area to plead with the government to support some projects that LG will be unable to financially bankroll.

Obiano said this during her visit to the less privileged at Otuocha Township Stadium, Anambra East council area.

She enjoined the indigent persons in the area to come and acquire skills and be empowered so that they would start up their own businesses.

Obiano admonished the pregnant women to always use their Primary Health Centre for anti-natal and post natal services in order to avoid maternal deaths of pregnant women in the area.

She urged the organisers of the visit to make a list of the less privileged who would benefit from donation of bags of rice and other materials during her visit next year.

Obiano commended Ndi Anambra East for their support during the November 18, 2017 gubernatorial election, which Governor Willie Obiano, her husband, won. The governor won in all 21 LGAs.
