THE Governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar, presented an award of Excellence by the Nigeria Youth Coalition for Development, YCD, to the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede.
As a grassroots person, the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service has never lost touch with his people during festive and cultural festivals, by implication he is a localised personality, global Ambassador of Nigeria on Immigration matters, with a local affiliation at the home front.
A statement by James Sunday, Service Public Relations Officer of the NIS, noted that the NIS family celebrates a Cerebral Czar and Icon, an expert on Immigration matters, with in-depth knowledge of international best practices on migration and border management.
