Ndi Anambra urged to key into Obiano 'Aku Luo Ulo' call

THE Governor Willie Obiano administration has succeeded in creating secure and enabling environment for businesses to thrive in Anambra State.

Nkem Okeke, the Anambra State deputy governor, made the observation during inauguration of Life International Hospital, Awka.

The ultra modern hospital and fertility centre is operated by Prof. Joe Ikechebelu, who hails from Abagana.

Inaugurating the hospital, Okeke acknowledged that a good number of Ndi Anambra had heeded calls for ‘aku luo ulo.’

He commended Ikechebelu, describing him as a man of vision and quality that should be emulated.

According to him, the hospital has a touch of class and excellence.

Okeke added that an establishment like this would create more job opportunities for Ndi Anambra.

While urging the hospital management to ensure professional treatment to patients, he said: “75 per cent of human healing comes from the amount of care medical practitioners give to their patients.

“There is the need for good and well trained doctors and nurses.’’

Paul Nwachukwu, a bishop of Grace of God Mission, Onitsha performed the dedication of the facility.

In a speech, he said the project was the beginning of more good things in the state.

He explained that as the name implied, the hospital would bring forth lives for Ndi Anambra.

Ikechebelu, the convener, thanked God for His grace throughout the building and successful completion of the hospital.

He commended the state government for providing the conducive business environment.

“The present administration inspired toward bringing my business home, with an enabling environment established, one can comfortably do business in Anambra,’’ he said.

Joseph Ahaneku, the vice-chancellor Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Joe Akabuike, Anambra commissioner for Health, were among dignitaries were present at the inauguration.
