The Founder, Ndubuisi Foundation, Chief Ndubuisi Chibuzor, has donated assorted relief materials to the Internally Displaced persons (IDPs) in Benue, through the state government.

Chibuzor made the donation on Wednesday in Makurdi.

He said that he donated the relief materials to the IDPs as a sign of his sympathy, love and care for them, stressing that he was concerned by their sufferings.

He stated that the state government alone could not cater for all the displaced people effectively, hence the need for other spirited individuals to step in by providing them with relief materials.

“I appeal to all well-meaning Nigerians and corporate organisations to come to the aid of the displaced persons by providing them with relief materials.

“The return of the displaced persons to their ancestral homes needs our collective efforts because both the federal and state governments cannot handle it alone,” he said.

He said the foundation would also provide assistance to other vulnerable persons in the society like windows and orphans, including empowerment to the youths.

He said that the relief materials donated were dedicated to the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and all the party’s candidates across the country.

Responding, Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue appreciated him for the donation and prayed God to continue to assist him so that he would keep assisting the needy.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the foundation donated a truck-load of foodstuffs and non-food materials to the state government on behalf of the IDPs. (NAN)
