PRESIDENT of the African Development Bank and Nigeria’s former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Akinkunmi Adesina, has faulted the Nigeria’s presidency reply to a letter written by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Obasanjo had in a 13-page ‘special statement’ relegated the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and advised that Buhari should not contest in 2019.
Replying, the presidency argued that the Buhari’s administration has recorded successes in several areas.
But Adesina faulted the claims of the Nigerian presidency, saying that the achievements it listed were “not enough.” He said this in a tweet on Thursday. – Independent
