TAIWO Adeniran, the Surveyor-General of the Federation (SGoF), says the Office of the Surveyor-General of the Federation (OSGoF) under his leadership will award contracts based on available funds.

Adeniran made this in a statement by Abu Michael, the Head of Press and Public Relations of the office during the bi-weekly management meeting of OSGoF in Abuja on Wednesday.

He said that the award of contracts would henceforth depend on funds so far released.

He explained that the arrangement was to prevent OSGoF from incurring unnecessary debts and operate within the meagre resources at its disposal.

The SGoF charged the directors and heads of the various departments/units of the office to be more creative and bring to bear their ingenuity in the conception, planning and execution of projects.

Adeniran tasked them to work as a team and keep each department and unit abreast with the levels of their respective projects and activities.

He said that all departments would henceforth present a monthly report for management consideration.

In the same vein, Adeniran urged the Director, Special Duties Surveyor to ensure relevant activities that would impact positively in the various states operations. (NAN)
