CHIKE Okafor-Agilo, an illustrious son of Nimo, has expressed confidence that Anambra State has a bright future under the present APGA-led administration.

Okafor-Agilo said this while speaking to the media at Nimo on the 27th Anniversary of the creation of Anambra State.

He said that at 27, the state had a good story to tell.

Okafor-Agilo listed some of the achievements of the present government to include infrastructure development, advancement in the education sector, agricultural revolution and security of life and property.

He said that purposeful administration in Anambra has brought about the influx of investors into the state: this has lead to direct and indirect jobs for unemployed youths in the state.

Okafor-Agilo emphasised that the impact of the APGA-led administration had occasioned the transformation of St. Michael’s Model Secondary School, Nimo.

It had also led to the refurbishment of the Community Secondary School, Nimo as well as installation of street lights at some strategic locations in the state.

He urged the governor to do some palliative work on some bad portions of the Nimo-Abacha road.

Matthew Attansi, cathedral administrator, St. Patrick’s Cathedral Parish, Awka, confirmed that Anambra had moved forward in the areas of security and education.

Attansi, however, called on Obiano to ensure the completion of ongoing road projects in Awka North LGA for easy accessibility of communities in the area.
