THE Nigerian Union of Pensioners, NUP, has requested all Senior Citizens, Pensioners, in Imo state yet to receive payments or have complaints as regards payment of pensions should report to the office of the union in Owerri to submit all their details and credentials.
In a statement, the union urged all teachers in the state (both primary & secondary) that have complaints about payments to report to the Nigerian Union of Teachers, NUT, secretariat located along Ph road, Owerri (Concorde Hotel junction) with all details and credentials such as Acct. Name, Acct. Number, BVN, Tel, Salary grade level etc.
It also said that all civil servants in the state and parastatals with issues of payments, are to report with their complaints at the Joint Public Service Negotiation Council Office at the Labour House, Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, at New Owerri with the necessary credentials.
The union also requested all Local Government Staff in the state, who have complaints as to payments are to channel such also to the Joint Public Service Negotiation Council Office at the Labour House, NLC, New Owerri.
It advised that complaints and documents should be tendered within the next seven days for onward resolution steps by the leadership of the Organized Labour.
