Police Save Charly Boy from Mob

CHARLES Oputa, an entertainer, popularly known as Charly Boy, was on Tuesday, August 15, rescued by the Police at the Wuse market in Abuja.

However, his BMW car was not spared as it was damaged by irate mob that attacked him. Charly Boy who has been leading a group to demand for the return of President Muhammadu Buhari from London or resign was attacked by youths when he took his anti-Buhari rally to the market.

Adeyanju Deji, one of the leaders of the campaign, tweeted: “Charly Boy’s car was damaged by the thugs.’’ He was reported to have fled, abandoning his car. But the youths went after him.
