The Olomu of Omu-Aran, Oba Abdulraheem Adeoti, on Saturday commended the lawmaker reconstructing abandoned Ologoro bridge, linking GRA with David Bamigboye way in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara.

Adeoti, who visited the site of the on-going reconstruction, hailed  Rep. Tunji Ajuloopin for his foresight and commitment to communal service.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the project is personally funded by Ajuloopin, representing Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara.

The monarch said the bridge would ease the smooth flow of traffic not only for motorists and commercial motorcyclists but for other roads users, when completed.

”It will help road users especially, pedestrians and traders in carrying out their commercial and business activities,” Adeoti said.

The traditional ruler described the lawmaker as a true son of the soil who the community was honestly proud of.

NAN reports that Ajuloopin ordered the reconstruction of the abandoned bridge as a way of giving back to the society that produced him. (NAN)
