CHISOM Ezebuilo, commander, Special Protection Unit Anambra State, has admonished Christians to eschew every form of violence in this Yuletide.
Ezebuilo made the call during the Awka Diocesan Christmas Carols and Festival of Nine Lessons on Sunday at the Cathedral Church of St. Faith Awka.
He said that it would be a moment for Christians to reflect on the way we live and a time to emulate the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In a homily, Rev. Augustine Okoji, who represented the Bishop of Awka, Anglican Communion said that it would be a period of reflections on reasons for the season.
The clergyman said: “It will be a time for us to prepare ourselves for the second coming of Jesus Christ’’.
The Christmas Carols and Festival of Nine Lessons were graced by different choir renditions.
