Roadside bomb kills 6 civilians in N. Afghanistan

SIX civilians were killed as a roadside bomb struck a car in the Mardian district of the northern Jawzjan province of Afghanistan on Tuesday, provincial government spokesman, Abdul Maroof Azar, said on Wednesday.
Three children and two women are among the victims, the official added.
Meantime, Interior Ministry spokesman, Tareq Arian, blamed the Taliban insurgents for organising the deadly bombing.
The Taliban outfit, which is active in parts of Jawszjan province with Shiberghan as its capital, has yet to make comment. (Xinhua/NAN)
