DIRECTOR-General, Centre for Justice on Religion and Ethnicity in Nigeria, Kallamu Dikwa, has charged President Muhammadu Buhari to expose the financiers of Boko Haram in the country before the terrorist group plunges the nation into a religious war.

According to the pastor, since the president assumed office in 2015, he has shown commitment in trying to bring to book some notable Nigerians that looted the country’s treasury, but failed to end terrorism and banditry.

Speaking in Kaduna yesterday, Dikwa commended the courage shown by the president to bring to book those that have brought the country to the mess it found itself economically, adding, “Failure to bring to the notice of Nigerians the financiers of Boko Haram will appear that the present government only wanted cheap popularity to ensure his victory at the polls in 2015,”However, the European Union (EU) has earmarked 271 million euros (about N98 billion) to assist about 5.6 million displaced persons in the North East.

The five-year EU humanitarian funding focuses on providing life-saving emergency assistance in insurgency-affected states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe.In a statement Monday in Maiduguri, Borno State, EU Commissioner, Janez Lenarcic, said the assistance, comprise emergency food aid and shelter in camps and host communities.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government has been called upon to renew the country’s partnership with Israel, if the war against Boko Haram and other terrorists must be totally won.Making the call yesterday in Lagos, in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Holocaust in Auschwitz, the executive director of IStandWithIsrael (ISWI), Rex Ajenifuja, believes the Jewish country has the wherewithal to end every element of terrorism anywhere in the world.

According to the pastor, the administration of immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan engaged Israel to tackle terrorism, but since the contract ended, Buhari has not deemed it necessary to renew it.He noted that the failure of Nigeria and other African nations to identify with the Jews and pray for them might be responsible for the lacklustre attitude of Israel to oblige the continent necessary intelligence to fight terrorists.

Asserting that the Holocaust is synonymous with Jewish suffering, he said Jews did not feel the impact of Christians, especially the Vatican, when about six million Jews were smoked to death by Adolphus Hitler, who was believed to be a Christian. He said the Holocaust was caused by anti-semitism, which is still causing problems in the world today.

“They felt that Christians supported the Holocaust,” he said. “Boko Haram elements will flee from Christian territories if they know that Christians stand with Israel because they know that Israel has the wherewithal to end their reign”.“Christians need to rise and align with Jerusalem, pray for the Jews, go there for real pilgrimage not tourism, and Boko Haram will flee.”

On why the military has not been able to end terrorism in the country, he alleged that “there is mixed multitude (fifth columnists) in the Nigerian army, hence rag-tag Boko Haram could sack a whole Battalion.”Pastor of Lifecause Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, Deepak Dhongde, who is an ISWI partner, noted that the human spirit was not extinguished, even in the Nazi death camps, hence he declared solidarity with the Jews.

The Indian cleric stated: “Genocide is never an accident; it is deliberate, calculated, systematic and precisely executed.Urging Christians to hate crime, poverty, life-stealing addictions and the seven deadly sins, he charged them not to sit by and watch evil reign.“Evil triumphed, as e
