AS Christians celebrate Easter, Sen. Solomon Adeola (APC-Ogun West),  has urged  Nigerians to pray for peace and security.

The senator said the administration of President Bola Tinubu would continue to lay foundation for a renewed hope of prosperity.

Adeola stated this in his Easter message in Abeokuta on Saturday by his Media Adviser , Kayode Odunaro.

Adeola, who is Chairman,  Senate Committee on Appropriations, appealed to all to practice the Christian virtues of sacrifice, patience, love and abiding faith.

He said it would ensure  a better tomorrow,  as exemplified in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He stressed that it was not possible to develop any society where the Christian virtues of love, sacrifices for one another, patience and hope for a better future were lacking.

Adeola explained that the incumbent administration of the All Progressives Congress at Federal and State levels are  laying  foundations for renewed hope for Nigeria to be on the right trajectory of positive economic development.

” President Tinubu has so far,  shown courage in doing what is right for the nation at this time,  and I have no doubt that we will be seeing more dividends of democracy soon.

” In addition to joining efforts at resolving our economic and security challenges in whatever capacity, I urge  all to pray for peace and security during the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and beyond ,” he stated.

The senator urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and support government’s efforts in the challenge of building a better society devoid of rampant insecurity.

He added that as the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ opened a window for salvation of sinners to make heaven, there is hope for a better Nigeria with hard work and prayers. (NAN)
