FIFA has handed Lazio, Italian Serie A club an ultimatum to pay Ogenyi Onazi, Super Eagles midfielder, his outstanding wages or face sanctions. AfricanFootball.com reports that FIFA ordered Lazio to pay their former player before end of this month.

“FIFA has given Lazio till November 29 to pay Onazi or face its wrath. He is being owed two months’ salary,” a source said. Onazi dumped Lazio for Turkish club Trabzonspor in the summer but the Italian side failed to pay him for the final two months of his contract.

The South Africa 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner reported the club to FIFA following their refusal to pay him.
