2018/2019 NLO Play-offs: Crime Busters vows to beat Akajiobi

EBERE Amaraizu, the Team Manager of Crime Busters FC of Enugu, has expressed confidence that his team would beat Akajiobi FC of Imo at the Nationwide League One play-offs match on Aug. 8.

Amaraizu told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Tuesday that his team would go for a win right-away in the play-off coming up on Aug. 8 inside the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.

“’Talking about the promotional play-offs into the Nigeria National League (NNL), the match will be between Crime Busters FC of Enugu and Akajiobi of Imo.

“We have been preparing to fine-tune the team technically and tactically leading to the series of tone up matches we had recently.

“The t0ne up matches include the win over Rangers FC and we have not lost a match, be it official or tone up, since the beginning of the 2018/2019 NLO season.

“All the tone up matches were to ensure players fitness and Coach Edmund Ndukanma knows what is at stake as a seasoned coach,” he said.

He said that the team needed to work hard with discipline, and apply positive measures to come out victorious in that play-off.

Amaraizu said that the club assured the Inspector-General (I-G) of Police, Adamu Abubakar of of their promotion.

“The I-G is interested in the success and progress of Crime Busters and he has been part of the team right from his term in Enugu as the Commissioner of Police (CP).

“We are promising others who have been working tirelessly to ensure the team moved to the next level that we are going to finish the job we started well.

“It will be our utmost happiness if we are able to put smiles on the faces of our fans with victory after the game in Lokoja,” Amaraizu said.
