Ex-Super Eagles player optimistic about Rangers’ victory over Defence Force

Former Super Eagles winger, Felix Ogbuke, on Tuesday, expressed optimism about Rangers International FC victory over Ethiopian side, Defence Force S.C on Wednesday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Rangers will begin their campaign in the Total/CAF Confederation Cup competition with a home fixture against Defence Force S.C. at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu (The Cathedral).

The return leg of the pairing will come up a week later in Addis Ababa.

Ogbuke told NAN in Enugu that within these few days, the team had put intensive training and concentration in its preparation for its continental outing.

He said that with the energy put so far in preparation for the continental clash, Rangers would have an impressive continental outing with a win in the first game.

“We expect nothing but total victory in our (Rangers) match against Defence Force S.C. of Ethiopia.

“With the level of hard work and determination shown in training, it can only end in total victory for Rangers, ‘’ he said.

Ogbuke, who is currently playing for Rangers, said that the Flying Antelopes would leave no stone unturned to make its teeming fans happy on Wednesday evening.

“With our strong belief in the never-say-die spirit, we shall make our fans happy once again, ‘’ he assured.
