SAMUEL Kalu, Super Eagles midfielder, says he has now resorted to taking lots of fluids on the recommendation of his doctor after he slumped during a training session in Alexandria on the eve of the Super Eagles’ first game at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Bordeaux winger fell while trying to take a corner-kick in a training session in Alexandria, and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
The 21-year-old underwent several medical examinations upon arrival in the hospital and was said to have collapsed due to dehydration.
“I now take a lot of water and other related fluids,” Kalu told Goal.
“It is what the doctor requires of me and I must abide by it. I am very okay now and I have played a game to clarify that.
