WORKERS have been tasked to be diligent and remain committed to duties.

Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, the Transition Committee chairman, Anambra West Local Government Area, said this during the monthly workers’ meeting.

Addressing the workers at the Marine Office of the LG, Nwabunwanne, warned that 2018 would not be business as usual, noting that attendance and attitude to work would be taken seriously.

He said his leadership was committed toward welfare of workers in Anambra West, but they should reciprocate the gesture by their attendance and attitude to work.

The chairman also said that the state government led by governor Willie Obiano would remain committed to changing the fortunes of Anambra West and the state in general.

He promised to appeal to the governor to assist workers in the LG considering the terrain of the area.

Responding, Anthony Omoja, the NULGE chairman in the LG, thanked the chairman, for his commitment toward the welfare of workers and promised that workers would reciprocate by being diligent.
