THE wife of Governor of Anambra State, Ebelechukwu Obiano, has congratulated the Mayor of the London Borough of Brent, Counselor Ernest Ezeajughi on his swearing-in for a second term in office.

Ezeajughi was sworn in on Sept. 14 for his second term

The founder of Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFÉ, in a letter sent to the Mayor’s Office, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ., commended His Worshipful, Counselor Ezeajughi for the auspicious ceremony.

She described the event as recognition of his excellent stewardship and services to the Brent Council and community in the past one year.

The First Lady said the congratulatory message to Ezeajughi was on behalf of the entire Anambra women, the CAFÉ and the less privileged, especially persons living with Sickle Cell disorder in the state.

She said that the confidence reposed in Ezeajughi by the Brent community was evidence of hard work.

“I have no doubt that you will bear well the confidence reposed in you and surpass your record of achievements in the course of your second term service to the community.

It will be recalled that the First Lady was a Special Guest of Honour on May 1, 2019 at Brent Council’s Annual General Meeting and the Mayoralty Ceremony when Counselor Ezeajughi was invested as the new Mayor of Brent.

Her NGO, CAFÉ was also one of the special charity organisations adopted by the Mayor for collaboration in the fight against sickle cell disorder on assumption of office.
