Nyesom Wike, Rivers State Governor, has ordered the trial of two All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains, Mr. Chidi Lloyd and Mr. Ojukaye Flag Amachree for murder. The governor who started the process of reconstituting his cabinet, which was dissolved on June 24, 2017, yesterday, declared that anybody who commits crime in the state must face the full weight of the law.

Wike issued the directives shortly after swearing in Rivers State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Mr. Emmanuel Aguma (SAN), at the Government House, Port Harcourt.

The governor told Aguma that the ministry of justice must ensure the prosecution of Lloyd who was the former Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly under the Chibuike Amaechi administration, over the attempted murder of a member of the Assembly, Mr. Michael Chinda.  – The Guardian
