PDP Inaugurates Special Committees' Members on Tuesday

The Peoples Democratic Party constitutes members of its four special committees and  inaugurates them on Tuesday, April 5

In line with the decision of the National Executive Committee, NEC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff, national chairman of the PDP, has constituted the four special committees in preparation of the PDP National Convention and the overall rebuilding and repositioning of the party.

The Committees, which are to be inaugurated on Tuesday, April 5, are the National Convention Committee, Reconciliation Committee, Zoning Committee and Finance Committee.

The National Convention Committee has Nyesom Wike, Rivers State governor, as chairman, Dairus Ishiaku, Taraba state governor as deputy chairman and Dave Umahi, governor of Ebonyi State, as Secretary.

Similarly, the Reconciliation Committee has Seriake Dickson, Bayelsa State governor as chairman and Senator Ibrahim Mantu as deputy chairman while the Finance Committee has Ibrahim Dankwambo, Gombe State Governor as chairman and Senator Godswill Akpabio as deputy chairman.

Similarly, the Zoning Committee has Emmanuel Udom, Akwa-Ibom State governor, as chairman and Kelechi Igwe as secretary.

The committees will be inaugurated by the national chairman of the party in a ceremony on Tuesday, April 5, at the national secretariat of the party at 2pm prompt, according to a statement signed by Olisa Metuh, national publicity secretary of PDP.
