NIGERIAN legislators belonging to the Peoples Democratic Party have issued a quit notice to President Muhammadu Buhari saying that there is vacany in Aso Rock come 2019.

The legislators stated this after an emergency meeting they had on Thursday, July 13, in Abuja.

Led by Leo Okuweh Ogor of Delta State the legislators told journalists that the All progressives Congress, APC, the ruling party in Nigeria has been all promises and no action. He highlighted all the struggles the PDP went through during its leadership crisis culminating in the Supreme Court ruling that sacked Ali Modu Sheriff as the factional chairman of the party.

Lamenting that Nigerians are suffering acute impoverishment due to hunger, bad economy and insecurity in the country, he observed that the APC have failed to improve the country’s situation better than the party met it. He added that the APC should see the PDP’s legal victory at the Supreme Court as a quit notice towards 2019
