2023 Elections: Academic activities resume at Nacabs Poly

ACADEMIC activities have fully resumed at Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, after the 2023 general elections.
The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) recalls that the Presidential and National Assembly election was conducted on Feb. 25, while the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections held on March 18.
A checked by NAN on Friday in the school revealed that students were seen in their various classes attending lectures.
Mr David Abuluya, the Founder of the school, cconfirmed the resumption of academic activities in the school to NAN on Friday in Akwanga.
“As you can see, students are in the school and are in their classes attending to lectures.
“As you can also see academic and non-academic staff are doing their respective duties.
“On February 22, 2023, we closed the school to allow students go home for election and they have resumed on Tuesday (March 21) after the elections,” he said.
Abuluya, who is also the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA), assured of his continous commitment to maintain academic standard in the institution.
He said that the school has produced world-class graduates, who can compete favourably with other graduates of higher institutions in the country.
“Our students are making us proud outside there as we are well known of academic excellence.
“We won’t compromise standards and we will not compromise academic standard as no society will achieve meaningful progress and development without sound education,” he emphasised.
Abuluya, who is also the Chairman, Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC), advised the students to to take their studies seriously in order to excel in their academic pursuits. (NAN)
