2023: Group cautions youths against thuggery, electoral violence

A group, All Progressive Congress (APC) National Youth Ambassadors for Tinubu/Air Marshal, has urged youths to shun thuggery and electoral violence during electioneering campaign to ensure peaceful and hitch – free 2023 General Elections.
The National Chairman of the association, Mr Kabiru Abdulhamid made the call at the inauguration of state and local government coordinators in Bauchi.
He urged the youths, especially APC supporters to eschew thuggery and other forms of violence during pre and post election periods.
“I call on you to resist attempts by parties or individuals to forment trouble, manipulate or disrupt the election processes,” he said.
Also speaking, Alhaji Danladi Gamawa, National Vice Chairman, North-East zone of the association, said the APC led-administration had demonstrated great political acumen and leadership qualities towards enhancing human resource development and youths empowerment.
“The party implemented poverty eradication, infrastructural development, digital economy, security and transportation programmes as well as political stability among many other key inputs that arouse global recognition,” he said.
Gamawa said the Tinubu/Shetima ticket would platform where two highly experienced former governors would use their wealth of experience to put up quality leadership and move the country forward.
“The group is geared towards mobilising support and canvass votes for Tinubu/Kashim across the country.
“We are also mobilising voters to ensure that Air Marshal Saddique Abubakar, APC gubernatorial candidate in Bauchi State win the election,” he said.
He urged party loyalists to remain focus and support its leadership to ensure the party win elections in the state. (NAN)
