…calls for stopping of anti-party campaigns

By Ajiri-Oghene Oreh

COORDINATOR, Isoko North Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Mike Ogwah has urged leaders behind anti-party campaigns activities in Isoko to have a rethink and work for the victory of all candidates of the party in the 2023 elections.

Ogwah gave the advice in a statement he issued on Wednesday at his hometown in Owhelogbo, Isoko North Local Government Area.

He said, the two chapters of the party in Isoko North and Isoko South Local Government Areas “are doubling their efforts in measures that would assuaged the grievances of aggrieved party leaders and their supporters”

“Thus, i want to advice our dear PDP leaders and their supporters campaigning 3 over 5 to have a rethink, and adhere to the supremacy of the party, and stop the anti-party campaigns in Isoko”

“Of what use or benefits would the victory of the presidential, senatorial and governorship candidates alone without the victory of others candidates, the House of Representatives and the House of Assemblies?”

He stated that, “The objective of the Campaign Council I head as Coordinator in Isoko North is simply to help the PDP win all national and state political offices in 2023 and I appeal to all aggrieved leaders to join in realising the objective of the council”

“History beckons on us all, to come together and be united in purpose and work for the overall interests of our party in the forthcoming elections “

“As true party members, we are entrusted with the task of leading our party to victory in all elective positions, and everyone’s contributions are not been taken for granted “

The Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to the Delta Governor, Ogwah, noted that, “every members of the Peoples Democratic Party are important who keeps the party running”

“Yes, every member of the PDP do, still owe their allegiances to the party wherever they are and are found. The supremacy of the Peoples Democratic Party is supreme and it surpasses the interests of individual”

“As we are all aware, Nigerians, particularly the people of Isoko are seriously praying for and looking unto us in the PDP to rescue and rebuild our nation through good policies and programmes”

“Let our campaigns from now on should be 5 over 5 in Isoko North Local Government Area and 6 over 6 in Isoko South Local Government Area that has two State Constituencies” Ogwah urged.
