2023: Isoko PDP unites for victory of candidates

ISOKO North Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday resolved to continue working as a united and stronger political family for the victory of all candidates of the party in the 2023 elections.
The resolution of the party was at an enlarged leadership meeting hosted by former National Vice Chairman, PDP, Elder Emmanuel Ogidi at Ellu.
In his speech, Ogidi said, “we are here today as an old PDP family in Isoko North, simply for reconciliation”
“I can see the former NNPP House of Representatives Candidate, Patrick Ferife here. This shows we are able to reconcile ourselves for the interests of our party. I want to assure, others who left and those who are aggrieved will return very soon“
“There is need for us to bring everyone together. And so, We are here for peace. Isoko North PDP is known for peace”
“I want to appeal that, we are one family. For those we have offended, on behalf of the National Leadership of the party, forgive us and let’s be united”
The Special Adviser to State Governor, Ogidi charged leaders and supporters of the party to remain committed to the victory of all candidates of the party.
The Chairman of the party in the Local Government Area, Prince Godwin Ogorugba also appealed to aggrieved members to put aside grievances and work for the interests of the party.
Meanwhile Ogorugba also inaugurated the Campaign Council headed by Hon Mike Ogwah as coordinator and ward council coordinators.
Others who spoke on the need to be united and expressed commitment to the victory of all candidates included Hon Ogwah, Executive Assistant to the Governor, Chief Okpobor Kome, DESOPADEC Commissioner, Dr Paul Oweh, Delta Energy Commissioner, Fred Obe, and Iosko North Council Chairman, Hon Christian Iteire.
Present at the meeting were the House of Representatives Candidate, Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko, the pioneer speaker, DTHA, Hon Emmanuel Okoro, Vice Chairman, Isoko North Council, Chief Frank Ozue, former Secretary to Delta State Government, Sir Simeon Efenudu, Elderstatesman, Chief Sam Egwerome.
Others were the House of Assembly candidate, Bernard Odior, Executive Assistants to the State Governor, Dr Patrick Akporuno, Dr Evelyn Aluta, Senior Special Assistants to the State Governor, Jaswill Asaba, Peter Emaziye amongst others.
