EFCC Investigates Three 7Army Generals, Others

The Nigerian Army has joined the fight against corruption in earnest. It has sent 12 army officers to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission for investigation. The list comprise three serving major generals, one retired major generals, three brigadier generals, four colonels and one lieutenant colonel.

A Statement from Col. Sani Kukasheka, acting director, Army Public Relations, said that at the end of the EFCC’s investigation those found culpable will be tried by a military court martial.

The statement which was made available to Realnews was silent on the name of the officers to be investigated.
