4 dead, 15 hospitalized in suspected food poisoning at French Old People’s Home

FOUR people have died in a suspected outbreak of food poisoning at a retirement home in Southern France, Local Authorities said on Monday.
A total of 22 residents of the nursing home, in the village of Lherm near Toulouse, were taken ill after dinner on Sunday, the regional prefecture said.
Another 15 were hospitalised for emergency treatment.
Investigations were under way to establish the source of the outbreak. (dpa/NAN)
