GOV. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has condoled with the state’s Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi, on the death of his mother, Mama Ena Maud Alabi.
In a condolence message on Friday in Ilorin, the governor was quoted as saying Alabi’s mother was a humanist per excellence, who served God and her community with her talent and rich network.
Mama Ena, as she was fondly called, died in the early hours of Friday, April 5, at the age of 98.
AbdulRazaq said, the retired senior matron in 1980, had ended decades of impactful professional service to God and humanity as a health worker and caregiver.
“On behalf of the AbdulRazaqs, the government and People of Kwara State, we send our heartfelt condolences to the Deputy Governor and his siblings on this huge loss of a faithful mother.
“We ask God to repose her soul and help the family to stay strong and united through the mourning period and thereafter,” AbdulRazaq said.
