Accept election outcomes with grace, humility, Kola-Daisi urges supporters

MR Kolapoboye Kola-Daisi, the Accord Senatorial candidate for Oyo South in last Saturday election has called on his supporters to accept outcomes of the election with grace and humility.

Kola-Daisi made the plea in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kola-Daisi had contested the seat with winner of the election, Alhaji Sharafadeen Alli of APC and Chief Joseph Tegbe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate.

“It is important to acknowledge the democratic process and respect the choice of our fellow citizens.

“While we may be disappointed with this outcome, we must accept it with grace and humility.

“This is the beauty of democracy – the people’s voice is heard and we must respect their decisions.”

According to him, I express my utmost gratitude for your unwavering supports throughout the course of this election. Unfortunately, the results was not in our favour.

“I know this is not the outcome we were hoping for, but I want to assure you that this is not the end of our journey.

“We have fought hard for our beliefs and though, we did not succeed this time.

“We should not lose hope or give up on our aspirations for a better future through performance-driven representation and people-centered ideas.

“I am filled with hope and optimism for the future, and I urge you all to continue to stay engaged, informed, and active in our democratic process.

“Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our fellow citizens and build a better, more inclusive society,” he said.

Kola-Daisi thanked his supporters for standing by him throughout the course of the election.

He urged them not to give up on their aspirations for a better future through performance-driven representation and people-centered ideas.

Kola-Daisi urged the people to stay glued to the “JÉKÁ DÁSI Channel, saying are more to come.(NAN)
